Sheldon Newman (BESTâ„¢ Solutions GM and CFO)
Sheldon Newman, BEST™ Solution GM and CFO, has been with PST since its conception in 2007. He has worked closely with Phil, Matt, Paul and Steve on the development of PST business concepts. Through PST’s major development phases, Sheldon has acted as an advisor to the rest of the management team as he brings tremendous executive level experience. Over the past 30 years, Sheldon has been responsible for many successful multi-million dollar organizations during this time. AT PST, Sheldon not only provides keen insight into the strategic mission and working to develop relationships with sponsors and partners but also manages the Company's financial services.
Sheldon has been CEO at companies, both private and public, in the healthcare IT arena, communications, speech-recognition and consulting. His expertise ranges across management of large software development organizations, business development, client services and sales and marketing. In the early 2000's, he was CEO of a $350 million company, providing financial and clinical software services and solution to over 100,000 physicians, 1000 hospitals and 400 home care facilities. In the mid-80's, Sheldon founded an OEM communications software company, providing software to Fortune 100 companies like IBM, AT&T, Siemens and Unisys. Sheldon took this company public in the late 80's. Sheldon holds a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
